Anne Hacker Anne is the stream's IT. Special hardware and software for stream is chosen, acquired, and set up by her (initially, after which it may be messed up by Hydro or David). When Hydro wants to play retro games, she often sets the consoles up inside of cardboard boxes with labels scrawled on them in marker and Hydro takes her word that there is original hardware inside.

Once a year, on Hydro's anniversary stream, Hydro says he will rank all the games he has played in the last year. This is a lie, and he actually trolls Samantha by ranking amazing games badly and terrible games well. No Samantha has ever agreed with the full list of rankings. This is the only thing all of both Samanthas can agree on, that Hydro's rankings are wrong.

Hydra Hydra is Hydro's daughter. He adopted her in October of 2019 when she was 13 years old after seeing her dominating other players at Super Street Fighter II Turbo on Coney Island. He promised her sugary drinks, savory snacks, and any amount of time she wanted to game. Nothing is known about her life before.

In late February 2026, Hydro began his metamorphosis to become a newt. Unfortunately, the process failed, and Newtdro was never fully formed. He returned to streaming in March 2026. You can commemorate this event by sending newts to other Samanthas by using the !sendnewts (name) command.

Pride 2023 Stream The Pride celebration stream for 2023 occurred on June 17th and started Tears of the Kingdom on stream. It was also a fundraiser for the Trevor Project with naming rights to a variety of Hydro's electronics for incentives. Samantha and Hydro together raised $2,669!
